Part I. The scope of application and consent to the provisions

The administrator of personal data of Users is Sipnati.com.

Users' data set has been entered in the registration of data files processed by Sipnati.com and is kept by the Information Security Administrator, appointed by Sipnati.com. This register is available for inspection at the Sipnati.com registered office.

The purpose of the Privacy Policy is to define activities undertaken by Sipnati.com in the field of personal data collected via the website www.Sipnati.com and the mobile application and related services and tools used by Users to perform activities such as registering, posting or viewing Offers and performing a number of other activities related to the above. All activities in question are subject to the relevant legal provisions that apply to data protection.

A user who uses Sipnati website, downloads a mobile application or uses related services and tools, confirms to read the provisions of this Privacy Policy and Sipnati Regulations and understand their content, and consents to the use of his personal data in accordance with the Sipnati Regulations and this Privacy Policy.

The User acknowledges that by clicking links placed in Sipnati or a mobile application, he may be redirected to external services of other companies located outside the administered Sipnati environment, in which the data collection process takes place outside the direct control of Sipnati.com. The privacy policy applicable to the services or applications of external entities is applicable to the data obtained by these entities in the cases specified below.

Part II. Collection, acquisition and storage of data

Account Data and Profile Data: Users who create an Account may be required to provide specific information, such as their email address and password. Users create a profile within the Account, which will contain data such as location, name and surname, address, telephone number and related information, including photos attached by the User. The profiles created within the Account allow, in case of interest in the User's offer, contact between Users. Users provide information on their public profiles at their own risk. The user should carefully consider the risk of making personal data public, in particular the address or the exact location. In the case of logging in to Sipnati via an external authentication service, e.g. Facebook Connect, Sipnati.com, under Sipnati, obtains data only in the form of the User's e-mail address.

Transactions: Sipnati.com as part of Sipnati may store information, e.g. personal and contact details that enable the Buyer and the Seller to enter into a contract, send messages, communicate with other Users and make payments for services provided by Sipnati.com as part of Sipnati. All data necessary to issue the Offer will also be required to create an Account. Information placed in Offers and "Messages to the Buyer" is made available at the User's own risk.

User Service: Sipnati.com as part of Sipnati may collect personal data of Users contacting the User service department, which are necessary to complete the User's request and contact him if necessary. The contact will also be possible through the use of data placed for this purpose on the User's Account. Sipnati.com is entitled to collect other data regarding communication with Users, e.g. information about requests for support or feedback from Users.

Contact form: Sipnati.com as part of Sipnati may collect personal data of Users contacting Sipnati.com and Sellers via the contact form available under Sipnati. These data are necessary to enable contact between Users for purposes related to the conclusion of the Sipnati sale agreement. The contact form provided by Sipnati.com is not used for private correspondence not related to the execution of the Transaction. Sipnati.com is entitled to collect data on communication made via the above-mentioned contact form. Sipnati.com reserves the right to filter and block messages sent via the above-mentioned contact form, in particular if they are spam, contain illegal content or otherwise pose a threat to Users' security.

Data collected by the website and mobile devices: Sipnati.com is entitled to automatically acquire and record data transmitted to the server by web browsers or Users devices, e.g. IP address, software and hardware parameters, pages viewed, mobile device identification number, information about use of the application and other data on devices and the use of systems. The collection of the above information will take place when using Sipnati's website or mobile application or third party services.

Completing the obtained data: Sipnati.com is entitled to supplement the information about Users with data obtained in accordance with the law from business partners and external entities.

Surveys: Additionally, occasionally, by means of surveys, with the consent of the User, sent via e-mail or made available directly at Sipnati, Sipnati.com collects demographic and profile data from Users. These data are used to examine Users' preferences and adapt Sipnati.com's offer to their expectations, as well as to statistical analyzes and creation of a collective image of Users provided to Sipnati.com marketing partners. The disclosure of these data is always voluntary, and the User may at any time opt out of receiving surveys.

Promotional campaigns: Occasionally, promotional campaigns are organized at Sipnati. The contact details of Users who voluntarily take part in promotional campaigns are processed in accordance with the law.

Part III. IP address, cookies and identification numbers of mobile devices:

Sipnati.com is entitled to collect data via Sipnati via technologies such as cookies, tracking pixels and objects shared locally (eg in a browser or on a device). Cookies ("cookies") are small text files that store data locally on a computer, mobile phone or other device of the User. Pixels are small images that are part of the website code that allow another server, including the measurement of website visits and are often used together with cookies. In other words, cookies are used, among others, to ensure friendly use of Sipnati so that, for example, you can use Sipnati without having to log in again. Sipnati.com collects as part of Sipnati both "permanent" and "session" cookies. "Permanent" cookies are stored on the User's computer for a long time, while "session" cookies are automatically deleted when the browser window is closed.

Sipnati.com may enable third parties, such as advertising suppliers or analytics solutions, to collect information using the above technologies directly on websites or in the Sipnati mobile application. Data collected in this way are subject to the provisions of privacy policies adopted by these entities.

Part IV. Use of collected data

Sipnati.com is entitled to use the collected and stored data in Sipnati for the following purposes:

  1. providing User service, including setting up and managing User accounts, solving technical problems and providing functions;
  2. adjusting the offer and the User's experience, including advertisements, in the Sipnati properties or properties of external entities' services;
  3. monitoring the activity of all and specific Users, e.g. search keywords, posted Offers and traffic management in Sipnati;
  4. contacting Users, including for purposes related to the provision of services, User service, permitted marketing activities, through available communication channels, in particular e-mail and telephone;
  5. conducting research and analysis to improve the operation of available services; and
  6. enforcing compliance with the Sipnati Regulations, including combating fraud and abuse.

Sipnati.com is entitled to store data collected and tracked at Sipnati only in the scope of implementation of the aforementioned business objectives.

Part V. Data sharing

Sipnati.com may share collected data with other websites operated by Sipnati.com.

Sipnati.com does not share the collected personal data of Users with unrelated parties without the consent of the Users concerned, unless the following circumstances exist:

  1. Sipnati.com may cooperate with external entities to provide the services it provides, in which case these entities are not authorized to independently use personal data processed on Sipnati's behalf and their activities are subject to the provisions of this Privacy Policy;
  2. Sipnati.com retains the right to share data with public bodies supporting Sipnati in the fight against fraud and abuse at Sipnati in conducting proceedings for possible violations of law or in combating other possible violations of the Sipnati Regulations, in accordance with the requirements of law.

As part of the adopted Privacy Policy, Sipnati.com undertakes not to lend or sell Users' personal data. In the event of restructuring or sale of the business or its part and the transfer of all or part of the property to a new owner, Users' personal data may be transferred to the Buyer in order to ensure the continuation of the Sipnati service.

Sipnati.com may provide anonymised data (ie those that do not identify specific Users) to external service providers, trusted partners or research agencies in order to better recognize the attractiveness of advertisements and services for Users, improve the overall quality and efficiency of services provided by Sipnati or listed entities, or participate in scientific research that generates a broadly understood social benefit.

Sellers after obtaining from Sipnati.com personal data Buyers, are obliged to provide them with the implementation of rights under the Act on the protection of personal data, in particular, Buyers have the right to access their personal data, the right to correct and modify them, the right to control the processing of their data personal data, as described in the Act. As part of exercising the right to control the processing of own personal data, Buyers have the right to submit a written, motivated request to stop processing their personal data by the Sellers, due to their special situation, as well as the right to object to the processing of their personal data or the right to their removal.

Part VI. Methods of control on the part of the User


Viewing, editing and deleting data: Users who have created an Account or place Offers, have the right to view, edit and delete the data they provide. The user ensures that the data provided or published by him in Sipnati is correct. The User's data may be modified or deleted by the User in the "My Sipnati" section on the website / in the Sipnati mobile application, to the extent described in Sipnati Regulations.

Cookies: Most of the known desktop and mobile browsers (eg Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera) provide the option of restricting or blocking the use of "cookies" in the User's system. It should be noted, however, that disabling cookies in the Internet browser in relation to first-class domains (websites visited) and other domains (third-party websites not visited directly) may result in limiting the functionality of the websites in some cases.

Part VII. Security


All data collected by Sipnati.com are protected using reasonable technical and organizational measures and security procedures to protect them against unauthorized access or unauthorized use. Entities affiliated with Sipnati, trusted partners and external service providers have pledged to manage data in accordance with the requirements of security and privacy protection adopted by Sipnati.com.

Part VIII. Change of provisions


The last update of the Privacy Policy took place on March 20, 2018. If necessary, Sipnati.com may change the provisions of this Privacy Policy. In this case, Sipnati Regulations shall apply accordingly.
